"I feel that they really "get" me and support me in more ways than they probably know. It's so refreshing to be part of a group who is interested in the same lifestyle I want and challenges me to try/do things I never thought to before. They aren't pushy or judgmental; they're encouraging and fun to be with."

"I feel stronger and more alive than I ever have in my life. I was an overly cautious rider the first year and learned a ton about how to feel safer through improving bike handling skills. Nature Force women were there to encourage me. I was inspired by the different ages, shapes and sizes, walks of life the women came from. All of us balancing crazy busy lives and carving out time to be part of Nature Force. It f*cking rocks. I take what I learn off the yoga mat and into the world, take what I learn on the trails and apply to life, and find lots of peace and confidence in my kayak as well. It has all reminded me to remain curious about my abilities, about what adventures lie around the next corner, and to continue to challenge my perceived limitations and wowza!"

"I’ve always loved to hike, camp, and kayak, and would rather spend time outdoors than sweating in a gym. My husband had tried to teach me how to mountain bike in the past, but it was really difficult, got us into a fight, and frankly it scared me.
Learning how to kayak, mountain bike, and trail run with a group of women is the opposite of scary. Nature Force basically has scheduled “classes” where you learn HOW to mountain bike, kayak, and trail run. The workouts are split up by skill and fitness level, so no one is ever left behind. For once I had someone to run (slowly) with!
I was on maternity leave when I heard about Nature Force, and 8 weeks post C-section when I did my first Saturday morning BRICK workout. I was so nervous I wouldn’t be able to keep up with anyone, but I was able to go at my own pace and not worry about getting left behind.
I’ve now completed the summer NF program 3 TIMES, finished the Rugged Toad Adventure Triathlon 3 TIMES including a 3rd place finish last year, and competed in numerous mountain bike races. I am empowered outdoors, and no longer feel like I need to work out – instead I go outside and play! More importantly, I have an awesome group of badass friends. I was hoping to gain fitness and skills, but making new friends was unexpected and is still my favorite part of Nature Force!
